Another day in New Mexico

On Sunday we went to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe. After going, I feel very inspired, but very small.

Horrible Book of the Week

While perusing the shelves at a used book store, I came across a book, so aptly titled for our trip that I had to get it. I thought it would be too selfish to read the book for myself, so I thought I could share with all of you fine readers. For the duration of our trip, this section will be updated weekly with the current horrible book.

This week's Horrible Book is The Getaway Man by Andrew Vachss.
Here's the blurb from the back of the book:

Eddie starts stealing cars long before he's old enough to get a license. Driven by a force so compelling that he never questions, just obeys. After a series of false starts, interrupted by stays in juvenile institutions, he connects with two brothers, professional criminals who make Eddie one of their own. At under 150 pages, this thin attempt at the noir genre is a fast and furious read. Well, less furious and more annoying with cliché after cliché, but what can expect from a tagline that reads,"Every outfit needs a getaway man."

My review is simple, get away.
